The Young Professionals Group (YPG) of the British Computer Society (Hong Kong Section) is a peer group for young IT practitioners in Hong Kong. It is established to provide a platform of networking and knowledge exchange for all members of the Section under the age of 35.

In view of a vast growing utilization and demand of technologies, the YPG is devoted to foster a strong foundation of IT professional manpower for the territory. Through organizing a series of events like seminars, corporate visits, networking hours and mentorship programme, the YPG provides a dynamic environment for experience sharing among peers, as well as a vertical channel for junior members to learn from corporate leaders in the industry.

Apart from our existing membership base, the YPG also organizes some outbound activities reaching to local tertiary institutions. As such we anticipate to extend our network, facilitating healthy collaborations and synergies among our next generation of IT workforce.

Being still at our formation stage, the YPG welcomes your comments and suggestions. We are dedicated to offer services fruitful to our members and we look forward to your participation as well.
